Royal Agricultural Shows

The Royal Agricultural Show, hosted by the Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE), was an annual agricultural exhibition held from 1839 to 2009, typically moving to different towns and cities each year.

Wollaton Park has served as a venue for the Royal Agricultural Show on four occasions.

1888

1915

Wollaton Park was again chosen as the venue for the Royal Agricultural Show in 1915.

The showground was extensive, utilising the field where Splendour is now held, along with Parkside field and “Mangle” field.

Parking was accommodated in the field between Derby Road and the Golf Course, with an access point, a hole and ramp, through the wall leading to the University Campus for additional parking.
