Digby Avenue Plantation

Digby Avenue is a historic avenue of trees located in Wollaton Park, Nottingham, planted around 1838 by Digby Willoughby, the 7th Baron Middleton.

On the opposite side of the avenue to the golf course is a wooded area referred to as Digby Avenue Plantation, with many varieties of trees and home to woodpeckers.

The avenue is lined with mature trees.  The trees in Digby Avenue were planted in the early 19th century as part of the estate’s landscaping, and many of them are over 200 years old.
