The walled garden site is managed by the Nottingham City Council team at Wollaton Park, supported by coordinated by Friends of Wollaton Park.

Our volunteering days are Tuesday and Thursday.

Use Mr Mans entrance, then turn left and proceed along the roadway to the back of the council office buildings.

If you’re coming in as a first-time volunteer, you will need to register and do some basic health and safety training. Your contact details will be added to the Nottingham City Council volunteer database.

If physical activity is not your thing, we do need a person who is good at organising new volunteers, helping out with committee tasks and liaising with Nottm. City Council teams.

We officially start at 10am and finish at about 4.00pm, however, this may vary according to the weather.

There’s also tea/coffee, biccies and sometimes cake!

We also start tours in April,  so if you fancy volunteering as a tour guide,  please email the tour coordinator.

If you join the Friends of Wollaton Park you can do more volunteering in the Hall and around the Park.
