Volunteer conservation tasks run on selected Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays in conjunction with the Park Rangers.
Tasks include:
- Creating a dead hedge
- Restoring wetlands areas
- Clearing debris from the lake
- Daffodil planting
- Fencing repairs
- Tree guard removal
- Invasive and non-native plant clearance
- Rhododendron management
- Preparing wildflower areas
- Woodland plantation maintenance
- Ha-ha conservation
- Bench conservation
Tasks may be changed or cancelled at short notice due to local park conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

Car parking passes can be arranged by the task leader. We also normally meet in one of the cafes afterwards for a free drink (please bring a re-usable cup) and chat.
