March 2026

  • Saturday 14 March (3 events)

    Saturday 14 March

Every Saturday, you can walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate at a 5k course around the park.

For more details, see the Wollaton Hall 'parkrun' website.

The run is organised by volunteers; if running is not your thing, you could get involved with one of the many simple tasks that make each event work.

Check the parkrun news page for occasional cancellations.

The lowercase 'p' on parkrun looks odd to us too - please see the parkrun website where they state "parkrun should always be one word, all lowercase."

    Saturday 14 March

(In association with Friends of Wollaton Park)

This small, quiet secluded space is cared for by a small group of dedicated volunteers who meet here on Saturday Mornings during the growing season from 10–12  for gentle gardening.  Our aim is to keep the rampant weeds under control and allow the other plants both wild and introduced to thrive and gradually to add plants to restore and enhance the sensory and colour themes.

Meet in the Sensory Garden at 10.00.
Groups of more than 4 must book.

Activities may be cancelled at short notice due to park conditions.

    More: Sensory Garden.

    Saturday 14 March

This activity is hosted by Wollaton Park, in collaboration between Nottingham City Council, Nottingham Asian Arts Council and the Sanskriti Association of Nottingham.

The festival celebrates the triumph of good over evil, good harvest, and fertility with the daubing of coloured powers.
