Wollaton Parks Splendour music festival has been cancelled this year.
Wollaton Hall has been awarded a grant of £469,992 by Arts Council England. As the Hall is a listed building, planning consent was needed, which has now been granted.
Wollaton Hall has an organ in the gallery of the Great Hall, but it is in need of restoration. The organ was restored in 1981 and 1995 but hasn’t been maintained since then. You will hear from the recording below that the organ needs tuning. £600 is needed to restore the organ. For a donation […]
Plans for desperately needed Wollaton Hall repairs put forward after water damage. Experts from Historic England recently described the condition of the Grade I listed hall as ‘very bad’, owing to water damage.
