Orienteering News
The Orienteering Course in Wollaton Park was found to be in disrepair. Friends of Wollaton Park teamed up with 124th Nottingham Scouts to survey the markers, identify the missing ones, and asses markers in need of repair. Dead Fence
A new conservation task has been scheduled for Saturday, June 24.We plan to create a “Dead Fence” to partition the area on Digby Avenue used by park staff to put brash to rot down into compost for the gardens. Please let us know if you plan to attend, so we can have sufficient tools available.

A concerned Nottinghamshire Live reader has voiced fears about people getting too close to deer at Wollaton Park.
There are no scheduled dates for Saturday conservation tasks during the summer. The programme should recommence in the autumn. We may run ad-hoc tasks if the opportunity arises, they will be announced here and on Facebook. Thank you to everyone that has supported us thus far, and look forward to reconvening in the autumn.
