A new book on Wollaton Park is to be published next month as part of the Wollaton Historical and Conservation Society’s ‘Your Wollaton’ series, produced in collaboration with Friends of Wollaton Park.
The book has been written by FoWP vice-chair Colin Robbins who is a long-standing ranger at Wollaton Park.
It traces the park’s evolution from medieval farmland and private hunting estate into the cherished public park and nature reserve we know today.
A launch for the book is to take place at Wollaton Hall on Monday 20th April 2026 at 6.45pm and will be attended by the Sheriff of Nottingham. A drinks reception will be followed by a talk from the author.

The book will retail at £9, attendees at the launch can purchase at the discount price of £7.50.
