The Old Rose Garden and Formal Beds have been replanted this spring with a focus on ecological sustainability. The move away from labour-intensive and less ecological formal bedding plants to new, sustainable, hardy, and perennial planting choices promotes a healthier and more resilient ecosystem. In addition, the Old Rose Garden is planted with bee- and butterfly-friendly plants.
