Plan announced to charge visitors to Wollaton Hall

Nottingham City Council proposes charging entry to Wollaton Hall and its Natural History Museum to fund repairs and improve the visitor experience in a new operting model.

A detailed article on the new operating model for Wollaton Park and the plans to charge for access to the hall.

The “in-house plus” model involves establishing an exhibitions company and a charitable development trust that will operate alongside the in-house park management. I.e. the park remains owned by the council, and not a charity as reported in some articles.
