Wollaton Hall Organ Restoration

Wollaton Hall has an organ in the gallery of the Great Hall, but it is in need of restoration.

The organ was restored in 1981 and 1995 but hasn’t been maintained since then. You will hear from the recording below that the organ needs tuning.

£600 is needed to restore the organ. For a donation of £2 to the restoration fund, a leaflet on the organ is available by email. Contact Wendy Smith.

There will be a demonstration of the organ on Saturday 3rd February 2024 at 11.30 and 1.30, where you will be able to contribute to the restoration fund.

Just turn up in the great hall, entry is free.
